Kyler was raised on Santa Catalina Island in an entrepreneurial family and taught a high value for community and a strong work ethic. Being a kid on an island offered him the opportunity of independence and a job working on boats at a very young age.  

After studying at California State University, Long Beach and completing flight school, Kyler began a prior 16+ year career flying helicopters, mostly in aerial firefighting. His experience operating multi-million dollar aircraft and protecting the lives of passengers and crew shaped his approach to client care and risk management. In addition to his flying career, he has successfully operated businesses in real estate investments, IT consulting, marketing and web design. Today he holds licenses as a commercial helicopter pilot, flight instructor, Idaho real estate agent, and life and health insurance agent in addition to his securities advisor credentials.

Kyler believes that being a “fiduciary” is at the core of his calling, not just his vocation. That, he feels, requires him to intimately know and serve the “dunamis” of his clients: their God-given ability and purpose. As a Series 65-licensed Investment Advisor Representative and Tax Planning Certified Professional (TPCP®) with Legacy, he advocates for clients as they take control of their financial future with faith, wisdom and prudence to create generational wealth for their families.

When he isn’t at work, Kyler’s usually spending quality time with his high school sweetheart wife, Krystal, and their two sons. They love to camp, fish and enjoy hot springs all over Idaho, traveling and community activities. His hobby is to play guitar and pedal steel at church and at venues around the Treasure Valley.
